Wedding Update

before Jennifer's June wedding.

Wedding update: We've chosen the place for the rehearsal dinner: the parlor in the worship and ministry building at Cincinnati Christian University. We're going to cater in Cincinnati favorites for the meal. It will be fun! Evelyn took some pictures to remind Jennifer what it looks like.

We've been in heavy mother-of-the-bride dress selection mode the last couple of weeks. I've been finding Evelyn huddled over the computer scrolling through page after page of possibilities during every free moment. But, hooray, Evelyn came home with a dress on a hanger tonight! "It's my first dress," she said. reminding me of a friend who bought three (or was it five?) dresses before deciding which one of them actually to wear on the big day. She opened a charge account at the store so she'd have the privilege of keeping it up to three months before returning it.

For the record, I think it's great, and I don't think she'll find anything any prettier--but we'll see!
